Building upon 15+ years of experience in the Construction industry, Alpha Construction Data, Inc. has been established as a separate company in December of 2003. Determined to make use of the opportunities opened up by the internet revolution, ACD started to offer take-offs and estimation services over the internet. Before too long, however we realized that most subcontractors don’t really have sufficient time to properly pursue construction opportunities and get the proper documentation in time for the bid date. So, beside the need for in time and accurate take-offs and estimations there was the more basic need for relevant information about construction projects and work opportunities. Gradually, our business model has changed. From a service on demand model we started to adopt a more pro active approach. Our customers needed an easy and convenient way to access work opportunities. They also needed a context where their skills could be exposed and commended. They needed a communication channel and a trusted network of professionals where they can improve and adapt their skills and business model to the needs of the market.
